Media's Desperate October Surprises Fall Flat
As flat as a Kerry joke, and it will only lead to a "November surprise" for the pundits who are living in the media bubble.
There has been a massive "throw everything you can at it, flood the zone, attack the Republicans, Democrat-media-complex attack. Stuff like the "Vanity Fair" piece, which declared the neo-cons had given up on Iraq. David Frum Deconstructs Vanity Fair's hit piece on Neocons and refutes the core claims. Hit piece after hit piece... And the result?
As of today, the Generic Congressional ballot now looks not bad for Republicans going into the election, a lot like it did in prior election cycles in the past decade: " Pew shows Republicans with momentum. In the generic ballot, Dems lead by just 4 points."
